Glad to see the notes are up! Girl Scouts is following up on our session: Engagement Strategies for Non-traditional Volunteers, here at our office (2277 Executive Drive, 40505) June 7th at 6PM. We’re working on an agenda re: volunteerism and collaboration, and if you’d like any input or have any questions feel free to email me at swarfield at gswrc dot org.
Even if you weren’t in our session we’d love to see you here!!
The rail session was videotaped. It will be up in the next day or two.
Thank you for the notes. Looking forward to next steps.
The Central Kentucky Council for Peace and Justice has been working on strategies for non-traditional volunteers, including the development of a sub-group of Resource Leaders led by Kerby Neill, and a website to encourage the self-initiated CKCPJ Peace Leaders in starting up their own events (http://peaceandjusticeky.typepad.com). I am interested in seeing how CKCPJ could join in the conversation about collaborations across non-profits to bolster volunteerism – so I am planning to attend Sally’s working session on the 7th at 6 pm to talk more about this.
Looking forward to meeting you all!
