About ProgressLex
General
ProgressLex is a non-profit grassroots organization committed to making Lexington the greatest city it can be. We believe Lexington’s strongest asset is its people, which is why we rely entirely on volunteers committed to helping us achieve our vision of making Lexington, Kentucky one of the most livable cities in the world.
We believe the following issues are vital components of every great city:

Legal
ProgressLex is a 501(c)4 social welfare organization established to further the common good and general welfare of the people of Lexington by bringing about civic engagement and social improvements. Our board currently consists of seven members, including a Chair (Daniel Rowland), Vice-chair (Shevawn Akers), Secretary (Graham Pohl) and Treasurer (Ben Self). Contributions to ProgressLex are not tax-deductible, nor are they limited. If requested, contributions can be made anonymously.
