About ProgressLex

General

ProgressLex is a non-profit grassroots organization committed to making Lexington the greatest city it can be. We believe Lexington’s strongest asset is its people, which is why we rely entirely on volunteers committed to helping us achieve our vision of making Lexington, Kentucky one of the most livable cities in the world.

We believe the following issues are vital components of every great city:

  • Engaged citizenry
  • Visionary leadership
  • Government accountability
  • Design Excellence
  • Economic development
  • Arts and entertainment
  • Environmental justice
  • Social justice
